[..] ABOUT THIS PIECE: -------------------------------------------- This composition came to me in a dream two nights ago (August 10). In my dream, I was playing the piano and a small audience was listening. I was playing this melody and I liked it very much. Suddenly, I knew I was dreaming and I remembered that this had happened to me before (listening to music I have never heard before). Most of the time, I'm unable to remember the music the next morning and that frustrates me very much. So, I started telling myself that I needed to wake up. I kept thinking "you must wake up, you must wake up" until I finally did. I immediately took my cellphone and went to a closet to record myself humming the melody. I had never done this before. It was a very interesting process as I had to stop my humming several times to close my eyes and replay the music in my mind. It was a surreal experience. By the second time I tried to hum the main theme, I was already forgetting parts of it, so I'm glad I forced myself to wake up and keep it.
