trout fishing line, braid vs mono

What is the best fishing line for trout fishing? is it braided fishing line? or is it mono-filament, otherwise known a mono fishing line? This fishing line debate has been argues all around the world, but nobody has ever been able to come to a sensible conclusion. Personally, I prefer mono-filament fishing line to be better when I am fishing for trout, particularly in streams. There certainly is a place for braided fishing line, including light, thin braided fishing line, and other gel-spun ans fusion lines, however that time and place is not on my trout fishing adventures. I use heavy braided fishing line for my Murray cod fishing and golden perch, or yellowbelly fishing, however I always prefer mono line, or nylon line for trout fishing. As the subject of fishing line is such a debatable subject, please do not fight and argue over this in the comments section. Please respect each others opinions.
