Egyptian army intervenes against Islamists: military issues President Morsi with 48hr ultimatum

The Egyptian military has given President Morsi 48 hours to respond to mass protests against his rule, saying that if he can't resolve the situation it will impose its own "road map" for peace. Millions of people have taken to the streets to demonstrate against Morsi, who came to power one year ago.
