More than a year has passed since the January 6 Capitol riot, and the question of accountability for the instigators remains unresolved. Some lawyers are making use of a 14th Amendment clause that bans insurrectionists from holding office. The voting rights organization Public Wise has launched an online database identifying those who supported the insurrection. The group's executive director, Christina Baal-Owens, speaks with Hari Sreenivasan about why this index is important.
