Interview with Facundo Lugones - Cam Norrie’s Coach

Today I chat with Facundo Lugones, which is Cameron Norrie’s coach. Facundo met Cameron at Texas Christian University where they both played college tennis. They went really well along and their relationship has always been great. Facundo explains to us the importance of having a good team around the player to help him go through the hard life of the tennis tour. To reach the top of the game you always have to do a lot of sacrifices and those are key to your development. We then talked about the incredible physical abilities that Cameron has. Facundo gives us his point of view of Cameron’s match against Djokovic at Wimbledon this year and what they should have done differently. We also feel that Facundo is missing his home back in Argentina and he would love to coach back there in the future. This is one of the biggest challenges for a coach. Finally, he gives us some advice for young players.
