Russia tests a new self-propelled howitzer

Russia tests a new self-propelled howitzer. Recently, footage from the trials of the newest 2S43 "Malva" self-propelled howitzer was made available by the Russian state media. The Bryansk Automobile Plant produces an 8x8 wheeled chassis that is equipped with the new Russian 152mm artillery system. It was created as a component of the R&D initiative "Nabrosok." The system's primary armament is a 152mm rifled howitzer, known as 2A64. Its 47-caliber barrel is the same length as that of the 2S19 "Msta-S" self-propel howitzer.
