⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ R160s Operating on the A Line

Due to a recently-identified issue with the new Bombardier-built R179 cars, the entire fleet of R179s is out of service. This smart and prudent action taken by MTA NYCT will ensure that these cars go through the required checks to make sure that they are safe and reliable. In the interim, several spare trains of R160s are in use on the A line. These cars will fill in for the R179s while they undergo engineering inspections. Enjoy!
