Eight Somali pirates handed over to the Kenyan authorities by the Royal Navy appeared before a Mombasa court charged with piracy. They denied the charges and were remanded until next week. Their arrest came only hours after pirates attacked and hijacked a Saudi tanker laden with 2 million barrels of oil.
