Easy DIY Lottery Ticket Scratch Off Valentine's Day Card Craft Project For Kids

Two thing my kids love to do are craft projects and scratching lottery tickets. I put those two loves together for this year's Valentine's Day cards! I never use the store bought Valentines. They may be easy, but so boring. This project is super easy for kids of all ages. My 3 year old helped to trace all the hearts. My 5 year old was able to write his own and his friend's names on all the cards. And my 8 year old was able to do the entire card on her own! Whatever your kids abilities are, let them use them. Materials: Different colored construction paper Card stock (or denser paper) to make stencils Pen (shows up better than pencil on construction paper) Scissors Packing tape A small container with a lid (so your paint won't dry out) Dish soap Acrylic paint (I used silver, but any color will work) Paint brush To make the paint use equal parts soap and paint My kids are so excited to hand out their Valentines this year! If you have any great Valentine's Day project ideas I would love to try them out. Feel free to send me a message or leave a comment below with any questions or ideas.
