He did not have much money, but he had something very special — a kind heart and an honest soul. The village was surrounded by green trees, singing birds, and fresh air. People in the village lived simple lives and helped each other. The woodcutter lived in a small hut made of mud and straw. Every morning, he woke up early, folded his hands, and thanked God for a new day. He said softly, “Thank you for giving me strength to work.” SCENE 2: THE WOODCUTTER’S DAILY ROUTINE Every day, the woodcutter took his iron axe, walked into the forest, and cut wood. He worked very hard under the hot sun. Chop! Chop! 🪓 The sound of the axe echoed through the forest. He never cut more trees than needed. He respected nature and loved the forest like a friend. After collecting enough wood, he sold it in the market and earned just enough money to buy food for his family. He was poor… but he was happy and honest. SCENE 3: A DAY THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING One sunny morning, the woodcutter went deeper into the forest than usual. He found a strong tree growing near a river. The river water was clear and shiny, flowing gently. “This is a good place to work,” he said. He started cutting the tree carefully. Chop! Chop! Chop! Suddenly… Oh no! 😲 His foot slipped on a wet stone! SCENE 4: THE AXE FALLS INTO THE RIVER The axe flew out of his hand… and fell straight into the deep river. SPLASH! 💦 The woodcutter stood frozen. “My axe!” he cried. That axe was the only tool he had. Without it, he could not work. Without work, he could not earn money. He tried to look into the river, but the water was too deep. The axe was gone. SCENE 5: THE WOODCUTTER’S SADNESS The woodcutter sat down on the riverbank. His shoulders dropped, and his eyes filled with tears. “Oh no… what will I do now?” he said sadly. “That axe was my only support.” He did not shout. He did not complain. He just sat quietly, feeling helpless. SCENE 6: A MAGICAL MOMENT Suddenly, something magical happened. ✨ The river began to glow with a soft blue light. The water started to sparkle. Slowly… a beautiful water fairy appeared from the river. She looked kind and gentle, with a warm smile. The woodcutter was surprised but not afraid. SCENE 7: THE FAIRY ASKS A QUESTION The fairy spoke in a calm voice, “Dear woodcutter, why are you so sad?” The woodcutter folded his hands respectfully and replied, “My iron axe fell into the river. Without it, I cannot work.” He told the truth without adding or hiding anything. The fairy listened carefully. SCENE 8: THE GOLDEN AXE The fairy smiled and dipped her hand into the river. She pulled out a shiny golden axe. It sparkled brightly under the sunlight. ✨ She asked, “Is this your axe?” The woodcutter looked at it carefully and said, “No, kind fairy. This is not my axe. My axe is made of iron.” SCENE 9: THE SILVER AXE The fairy dipped her hand into the river again. This time, she brought out a beautiful silver axe. She asked once more, “Is this your axe?” The woodcutter shook his head and replied, “No, fairy. This is also not mine.” SCENE 10: THE IRON AXE The fairy smiled again and went into the river for the third time. She came out holding a simple iron axe. The woodcutter’s face lit up with joy. “Yes! Yes!” he said happily. “That is my axe!” SCENE 11: THE REWARD FOR HONESTY The fairy was very pleased. She said, “You are truly an honest man. Many people would lie, but you spoke the truth.” As a reward, she gave him all three axes — the golden axe, the silver axe, and the iron axe. The woodcutter was shocked and grateful.
