My Thoughts On The Song/Chart: An old custom FBFC i did with the same people i did Custom FBFCs of songs like "Ride On Shooting Star" and "Sanctuary" with. I have previously uploaded this FOB song twice via normal FC and Co op With our vocalist here but here is the full band FC. As stated before, this is a great FOB song from Folie A Deux, and one that despite having a sad sentiment remains thematically hopeful. This song is probably hardest on the vocals role due to Patrick Stump's vocal range. The title of the song itself is a play on words. The gold standard is an economic system in which the value of currency was determined by a standard, or fixed, amount of gold. “Gold standard” is also a term used to describe top-of-the-line, high quality products. Commercially, “The (Shipped) Gold Standard” was the most successful non-single song from Folie à Deux, peaking at #20 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart (#120 on the Hot 100).
