For the occassion, the band bring out all kinds of surprises, including Freddie in absolutely despicable voice, "Mustapha" (as on every show after Milan, September 14th) before "Dragon Attack", Johannes Brahms' "Lullaby" during "Love of My Life", a long intro before "Stone Cold Crazy" (after which Freddie's mic dies, making the "Great King Rat" snippet almost entirely instrumental) and even a quite extended tease at John's "Back Chat" during "Another One Bites the Dust" by Freddie, who teases at the song for the last recorded time ever. As no complete setlists from the following Sun City leg - which would start just a week after this concert by the way - are known, this show contains the last known performances of "Stone Cold Crazy", "Great King Rat" and Spike's hotly debated keyboard solo as all three would be gone by the time Rock in Rio took place. Overall, this is one of (if not) Freddie's worst night on recording. Apart from a few really unexpected wildcards he simply sounds unsaveable, singing all-time worst versions of "It's a Hard Life' and "Radio Ga Ga" to the point where you just have to feel bad for him. The band are somewhat sloppy but turn in fantastic solos and a great "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" jam, pretty much on par with some jams from Japan 1982! 00:00:00 - 01.
