Part 2 - This is the fifth of seven talks from St Bride's Church in West Kilbride to mark the Year of Faith called by Pope Benedict to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Second Vatican Council. This month the theme is the role of the laity in a modern Church when the speaker will be Patricia Carroll. Patricia has a Masters degree in Christian Spirituality specializing in the great German theologian, Karl Rahner. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Pastoral Formation from Cambridge and on top of that is a Canon Lawyer. She has worked in parishes in London as pastoral assistant and was Director of Education for Parish Service in Southwark Archdiocese. She is currently in charge of the Pastoral Agencies of the Archdiocese of Edinburgh.
