Controlling 2 racers at once in Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii is a fairly difficult game as-is. Trying to double up and play the game as two people at once? Now, that's ridiculous. Let's try it! In this video, using a GameCube Wavebird controller, I drove as not one, but two racers in the same race. It was so much harder to multitask than I had expected, it felt like I could never focus on one of the two characters or else I'd mess up with the other one.
