Another entry into a HWJ weekend challenge. This time the challenge was to include silence in the track. I tried to stick to both the letter and the spirit of the challenge by including some big gaps but also doing a much thinner arrangement than I usually would. I came up with the string part first and built everything around that. I went outside just before starting this and stood enjoying the sun in silence to get in the right mood. I decided to record a bit of outdoor ambience to use and captured the sound of the bird heard in this track.
