We cover a couple standard approaches followed by breaking down words by prefix/suffix/root in order to infer the meaning of unknown words. This approach, while tedious, is highly effective to guess when confused. Ideally, you study a couple vocab words & word parts a day, but the most effective way to study for vocab (and the reading & writing section as a whole) is to just read daily for 15 minutes.
