Contemporary Worship • January 18th, 2026 • Second Sunday After Epiphany

Live stream of this weekend's Contemporary worship service • January 18th, 2026, at 10:45 AM. • The Sermon is “What Are You Seeking?” by Pastor Kurt Ebert based on our reading from John 1:29-42a. Theme of the Day Today, Jesus asks two would-be disciples, “What are you seeking?” It’s a revealing question to Jesus and a revealing question about Jesus. People come to Jesus with a whole host of wants and desires, but Jesus came with His own goals in mind: to be the light in the darkness (as Isaiah promises in our Old Testament reading) and to be the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world (as John the Baptist proclaims in our Gospel reading). In Jesus, we find so much more than what we initially sought. In our New Testament reading, the Apostle Paul reminds us that in Jesus we have all the spiritual gifts that we need.
