SCOTLAND is to ditch its face mask law in a month’s time, it emerged today. On March 21, the legal requirement to wear face coverings on public transport and in enclosed public spaces is expected to end. But Ms Sturgeon said wearing face coverings will still be “strongly” advised. Also on March 21, businesses and places of worship will no longer be legally bound to follow reams of government guidance, or to collect people’s details for Test and Protect. But she also revealed the Scottish Government will diverge further from England in terms of Covid curbs, by continuing with free tests and keeping self-isolation rules.
