France and UK brace for strong winds and rain as Storm Alex makes landfall

Storm Alex is set to bring flooding and gales of up to 65mph to the south of England. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning and said the storm, which swept through France this week, will cause wet and windy weather across the south of the country from the early hours of the morning.
