Its modern name is a corruption of its old name 'Clear Eye', which reveals its highly esteemed use as an eye remedy. Native to Europe, it grows to about 1-2 metres in height long hair green-purple leaves and pink, blue or white flowers. It is the leaves and flowers where the essential oil comes from. It has long been acknowledged as a calming essential oil that can induce euphoric states and enhancing your intuition.
