Finally, I broke down and decided to buy this grill and hot pot set. It arrived with a new car-type factory smell, so I let it air out for an hour, then washed it and my epic meal began. I was worried that this being an electric set that might not hold up to the gas-powered versions. My fears were unfounded, using the dual independent controls I was able to get both the grill sizzling and the hot pot area boiling full-on and it only took a few minutes, with that 2200 watt beast. I think that there can never be enough grease in my meal, but just in case you care about being healthy there's a built-in grease trap drawer that allows the grease to drain out so it doesn’t just buildup in the grill area. The nonstick required just a little bit of oil (per the instructions) and worked well. My meats never stuck to the grill. Clean-up was easy its one piece for the grill and hotpot surface so it's minimal effort to clean. A minor issue, The sides get a bit warm and the power plug got slightly warm. Neither one was something I was worried about. Overall I ate like a king and was more full after that meal than I can remember. It definitely satisfied my bbq and hot pot needs. Looking forward to many more meals.
