A cold front has just rolled into the Southeastern United States and as Summer is coming to an end, the Sweet Autumn Clematis are billowing amongst the trees and undergrowth near my house. The hanging, white, clouded masses of blooms give off their sweet, subtle fragrance similar to that of wild honeysuckle. Summer can be very benevolent, especially when the relief of a cold front is adorning her gown of green and white.
