Fatal Fire Verdict, Nov. 30, 2021

A Waterloo woman has been found guilty for setting a fire that killed a boy and his mother in 2018. Jurors found Denise Susanna O’Brien, 45, guilty of two counts of first-degree murder. Prosecutors said O’Brien set fires at the home on April 22, 2018, because she was mad her boyfriend spent the night there with another woman.
