Ever since Addison moved to Seattle, things between her and Derek had not been so great. She has been ignored by her husband and over time realizes that he would not be able to love her the same way he did before 'Mark'. Eventually Addison decides that she need to let Derek go and let the rage she has in her towards him go, otherwise she would only hurt herself if she stays with him.
