Quick-thinking Kingston police officers have been praised for using a nearby powerboat to rescue a man who was struggling in the River Thames on August 6. Bodycam footage shows the officers travelling along the Thames in the powerboat, using a torch to locate and rescue the drowning man, who was 'struggling to remain calm'. PC Tom Martis-Jones, from the Met's South West Command Unit, is a qualified powerboat driver and gained access to a boat stored at a sailing club to aid the rescue. The footage has been shared on Facebook and the officers have been praised for their heroic actions. Original Article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/artic...
