Crystal Tais’s gifts come directly from her pen. Artist/songwriter, Crystal Tais, hails from the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Although she currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, which to her is considered the best of both worlds, Crystal is very much in tuned with her West Indian background too. Her pen can be heard on Trinidadian superstars Nailah Blackman’s “Enough” from "The Reel" EP, and Hey Choppi’s “Captain”, also co-written by soca’s very own Machel Montano and Jelani “Pops” Shaw, writer of Kes’s “Savannah Grass”. Crystal also featured on Romeo Miller’s “Favor” from his “Hidden Treasures” EP, in addition to releasing her own debut EP entitled “Hoopla” with her production/writing collaborator Abraham “Abe” Williams Jr. Hoopla Vol 2 has now been released on all platforms as of March 19th, 2020. With additional production from producers Don City (Chris Brown's "Natural Disaster/ Aura", "Heartbreak on a Full Moon", "No Exit", etc) and Stadic (Olatunji's "Jiggle It', Demarco and Machel Montano's "Fire", Mr. Killa's "Run Wid It" [Planet Jab Riddim], etc. Crystal has always believed that "Timing is everything", for it’s most certainly only the beginning.
