8o 100% By Zobros (Geometry Dash Insane Demon)
The journey has finally come to an end. On September 1 of 2019 I uploaded my first 8o progress video. I would continue to make progress on this level until I eventually quit Geometry Dash. For 4 years I just remained with 77% and no completion. Now that I have a 120hz laptop, I got in the mood to boot up Geometry Dash again and decided to finally return to this great Insane Demon from Zobros and beat it once and for all. This is definitely my new hardest. My hardest before was probably Clubstep v2 (or Bicycle which really should probably not be a Hard Demon) so there was a bit of a jump. The first cube part is a bit boring albeit wonderfully synced, and the UFO gap at 77% can take a hike but the gameplay IMO is still honestly really good. I have a soft spot for 1.9 levels and Zobros is one of my favorite 1.9 creators, if not my favorite. Where to next? Well to be honest, I don't know if I'll play GD again. If I do decide though, I am thinking of doing Deadly Clubstep since I also made progress on it before I moved on to 8o and it's a historic level. I could also try another easier Zobros level and finally beat Nine Circles, but I think I'll most likely just try and focus on Windy Landscape, it's a fun Insane Demon that I've always wanted to beat so finally doing it after so long would be fun! Another thing I am considering is doing Cataclysm, as not only is it an extreme demon but (unlike Acu) it has a incredibly historic legacy and I have always wanted to beat this level (though to be honest I don't know if I ever will...). To be honest though, now that this is finally over, I want to take a break and move back to making my sonic content. I already have a video that is half done (it was almost done but I have gotten a new mic so I need to rerecord audio, modify the new audio recording, edit the editing to have timing that matches the re-recorded session, etc). Note for returning viewers of the channel: This probably isn't my return to Geometry Dash, I still plan to make sonic videos. I just don't work on it that much mainly because I find myself difficult to push myself to actually continue once I start slacking off and also am just generally quite busy. I wanted to have a video out before Halloween this year but I am pretty confident I won't be able to finish a full Sonic video in 2025. More are on the way though, will be coming... eventually.
