Kentucky mayor calls for removal of Confederate statues

The mayor of another US city with statues from the Confederate era has decided they should be removed. Mayor Jim Gray of Lexington, Kentucky urged the local council to request permission from the state commission to take down the statues of men that critics say are symbols of racism and hate.
