The 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season has been relatively inactive, contrary to many predictions by the NHC and other official sources. However, if Hurricane Andrew thought us anything, it was this: it only takes one. On September 23, a tropical depression, like many before and after it developed. What was different about this one was that this would become one of, if not the worst natural disasters Florida faced. This Category 4 or 5 Monster tore through Fort Meyers and Sanibel Island as well as destroyed the Port Charlotte area, resulting in at least 130 deaths across the United States, the vast majority in Florida. The total damage is unknown, but catastrophic. Needless to say, this hurricane will go down in history as another I named storm that devastated parts of Florida, Cuba, and South Carolina. And to make things more confusing, there is a debate on whether this was a Category 4 or 5 at landfall, but the result is the same. This Hurricane is Hurricane Ian, Florida’s worst nightmare. I am Pat’s Path Predictor, and welcome to today’s documentary. “Penumbra", "Night Break" and "SPC-x2x", Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b... . #hurricaneian #hurricaneian2022 #2022atlantichurricaneseason
