audio recording of an assassination attempt made on nasser during a speech, by a muslim brotherhood member. all shots missed and nasser capitalized on the opportunity to deliver an impassioned speech to the masses, who roared in approval. afterwards, he used this momentum to institute a massive crackdown on the brotherhood as well as other political opponents. the cartoon is an arabic political cartoon, my best guess as to the translation is 8 bullets missed who says they missed! they struck the heart of egypt. and i believe the man behind nasser is labeled with "stalbility" or "resting", although that doesnt make much sense. hard to tell since the image is grainy
