[Easy, Simple and Fresh] Minty Pomelo Salad (薄荷柚子沙拉)

[Easy, Simple and Fresh] Minty Pomelo Salad (薄荷柚子沙拉)

My friend just gave me a pomelo, one of the original citrus species and native to South and Southeast Asia. (learn more about pomelo from wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomelo) Living in Hawaiʻi, you can get pomelo from someone's backyard, Chinatown, or farmer's market. If you got chances to get one and wonder whether there is another ways to eat it or not, here is one of the answer! You can not only eat the meat part from a pomelo, but also the skin of it (of course not raw). Besides, the skin can also be used as mosquito repellent or cleaning. (So remember to save those pomelo skin!!!) Making pomelo salad is super easy, simple and fresh! You need to prepare (~$4 for 3 to 4 servings) half pomelo (~ $2, but I got it free) a bunch of mint (~$1.5) 1~3 chili peppers depends on how spicy you like ($0.1~$0.3) 2 tbsp olive oil (~$0.2) 2 tsp salt or based on your taste 1 tsp black pepper or based on your taste [Warning: remember to wash your hands and don't touch your eyes or sensitive areas after touching the chili pepper!] Don't forget to subscribe my channel: yufenasyourfriend My website: https://yufenasyourfriend.wordpress.com/ Follow me on IG:   / yufenasyourfriend   Mahalo nui!
