Hilton Sydney - King Executive Room - Best hotel in Sydney for business? The Hilton Sydney, Australia, stands tall as a magnificent 43-story 5-star establishment in the heart of Sydney's CBD. Boasting a total of 587 guest rooms and 20 versatile meeting rooms, this hotel caters to both business and leisure traveler's. Its prime location in the bustling Sydney CBD places it within convenient reach of all major business and tourist attractions. For instance, a leisurely 35-minute stroll or a brief tram ride of under 10 minutes will take you to the iconic Sydney Opera House. During my stay, I had reserved a King Superior Room but was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a King Deluxe Room, complete with a luxurious bathtub and extra amenities. The room, despite its recent refurbishment, still exhibited some signs of wear and tear, including sound transmission from the corridor, which, while not a major issue, could be improved with better soundproofing. In the evenings, between 5 and 7 pm, the Glass Brasserie at the hotel served a delectable selection of pre-dinner snacks. The spread included an array of cold cuts, cheeses, a delightful pumpkin salad, prawn dumplings, and fish tartare. Most beverages on the menu were complimentary, though I opted for a glass of Veuve Clicquot. The hotel's breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a generous assortment of hot and cold options, a breakfast cereal station, juices, and pastries. For specialty coffee, you could request it from the barista for a nominal fee of $5. It was a pleasant change to see a breakfast buffet, especially considering the recent COVID restrictions. While the buffet seemed to be operating slightly below full capacity, I anticipate it will return to its full glory as conditions normalize. All in all, my stay at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney was exceptional, and I look forward to returning in the near future.
