Sekiro challenge playthrough: Base ATK/VIT, Charmless, Bell Demon | Guardian Ape Boss Fight

So, the Guardian Ape. A relatively comfortable boss, which can not said for its second appearance. It took me around 10 attempts to get beat this boss for the footage you see here. Getting guard-broken once by this beast under the challenge's conditions can easily be a death-sentence. This one is just a matter of getting that HP down and in the second phase the spear-pull helps out greatly, as most players probably know. To get the (arguably insignificant) posture-bar build up on the ape during its swipe attack, you need to jump & kick quite early during the animation. I so do not look forward to that second encounter in the cave.
