Shaykh Muhammad al-Hassan Walid al-Dedew (or al-Dido) al-Shanqītī, one of the most senior and widely respected scholars of the Muslim world, encourages Muslims to attend demonstrations of solidarity and support for the Uyghur Muslims suffering genocide at the hands of the Communist Party of China.
