St Paul of the Cross UK, 2nd Sunday in Lent 5th March 2023

Welcome to St Paul of the Cross UK on this the second Sunday in Lent 5th of March 2023 Special prayers for our special colleague Mr John Mcclure Grandaughter Caitlyn who has been diagnosed with a serious illness, we pray with all our might for our Lord to turn to this little child and with all his power take away this illness. We also pray Caitlyn Mum and dad Dave and Joanne and all the family at this very difficult time. Lord PLEASE in your mercy hear all our prayers. AMEN. It is with great sadness and ask for your prayers for another one of our parishioners who have gone home to the Lord. This week Pauline Costello sadly died. Eternal rest grant unto her o Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her may she rest in peace Amen. This last week we saw the sad passing of Mr Gerald Cowley, thats Tony's uncle. Gerald who sadly passed away on Friday the 27th of January. our condolences go out to Gerald's wife Joan, and the Costello family at this very sad time. Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace. Amen. Our prayers also go out to the Costello family as their lovely Mum Pauline, goes ever closer to gaining her heavenly wings. May the Lord be close to Pauline and all the family at this difficult time. We pray to our Holy Mother of the Church, our Lady that she will intercede for the people of Ukraine as she has acted so many times over the years, Holy Mother please hear our prayers. Amen. We pray that the Lord will turn to President Putin and redirect him to a peaceful way and not one of War. We pray that the Russian forces, will turn to a life of LOVE - not - WAR. We pray that the leaders of the world will find a peaceful way to educate President Putin to re think his way and turn to peace, lasting peace.
