Bishop Curry on Mary Magdalene: "Oh, I gotta meet this sister!"

Bishop Michael Curry of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina is laying on the line for the national conference of CEEP (Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes) in Charlotte in Lent 2012. In this clip of his sermon at Christ Church Charlotte, he speaks of Mary Magdalene and her bravery depicted in John's Gospel, while going to Jesus' tomb in "darkness." He whispers "...while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb!" In urging us to have her sense of hope, he look forward to a his time in heaven when, "Oh, I gotta meet this sister!" (Personal note: I love Michael Curry! ...Mainly for his theology and message, of course.
