Fly Me to the Moon Study - Part 3c: Walking Bassline Today we play a 'Walking bassline' on the A section of 'Fly Me to the Moon. Here we play quarter notes, aiming for chord tones on the '1' & '3', and passing notes on the '2' & '4'. Walking bass is an art, and all great bass players have their signature style when doing it. Check out players such as Ray Brown, Paul Chambers and Ron Carter to name a few, listen to their different approaches and get inspired from the masters to compose your own basslines. In this Fly Me to the Moon course we will apply Triads, Drop Chords, '2 Feel' and 'walking' Bass-lines, counterpoint, chord melody and much more on our first Group Standard, so make sure to join our thriving Jazz Guitar Hub you enjoy #guitarlessons like this to keep up with the next lessons 🎸🎶❤️ / jazzguitarhub Drop a comment if you would like the full PDF. #guitarlessons #jazzguitar #jazzguitarlessons #jazzchords
