Recipe For Coconut Chutney: Sliced Coconut - 2 Cups Tamarind - Lime Size (Soak in water) Turmeric - 1/3 Tea Spoon Red Chilies - 7 Mustard Seeds/ Rai - 1/2 Tea Spoon Cumin Seeds/ Jeera - 1 Tea Spoon Split Bengal Gram/Chana Dal - 1 Tea Spoon Urad Dal - 1 Tea Spoon Asafoetida - One Pinch Oil - 3 Tea Spoon Salt To Taste Sept 1: Tempering Heat oil Add Chana Dal, Urad Dal, Cumin Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Red Chilies ( adjust spicy by adding more or less red chilies) & Asafoetida. Fry until it turn brown. Set aside, leave it to cool down. Step 3: Grind Coconut Take coconut into a mixer jar & grind it for 4-5 seconds. Step 4: Add Turmeric & salt. Also add Tempering. Grind for 2-3 seconds Step 5: Add Tamarind with water. Grind again for 4-5 seconds Coconut Chutney is ready to Serve Transfer into a serving blow. Serve with Rice , Roti, Idly or Dosa.
