Day 12: “Worry” | Can I Really Trust God?

Question: Can I really trust God? ——————————————————————— DEVOTIONAL: You can trust God with your future because you have a faithful God who loves you and promises to guide you to a perfect, eternal future if you follow Him. Jesus never promised a problem-free life; in fact, He guaranteed that life would not be easy. So don't be surprised by hard times and don't be afraid of them. There is no problem that Jesus can't handle or overcome. Many of the things that you are afraid might happen never do, so don't waste time on "what-if" worries, for either the past or the future. Turn your worry time into prayer time. ——————————————————————— GOD'S RESPONSE: Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. Today's trouble is enough for today ~Matthew 6:34 ——————————————————————— GOD'S PROMISE The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. ~Psalms 121:8 ——————————————————————— PERSONAL TAKEAWAY: Today, I realized that I worry about things that I don’t have control over and if I did would have no idea what I’d do with it… And the things I don’t worry about are things that I need to put more focus on and do have control over but mess them up daily… To give full responsibility to God to govern my life is not the easy way out but the best way.
