Yevgeny Prigozhin: Wagner boss ‘killed in deadly plane crash’ in Russia

In the weeks since he led a humiliating mutiny against Russia's military leadership - Yevgeny Priogozhin's whereabouts have been largely unknown. Now the leader of the Wagner mercenary group is reported to be dead - listed as a passenger on a private jet which crashed north of Moscow with no survivors. A former ally of Russia's President, Prigozhin amassed a fortune from state contracts before founding the powerful paramilitary group, which played a key role in Africa and Ukraine.
