Fewer visitors at Brussels' Christmas market

(21 Dec 2016) The Christmas market in downtown Brussels had few visitors and fewer police on Wednesday. However the feeling amongst most market-goers seemed to be that they felt safe. A truck attack at a central Berlin Christmas market on Monday evening left 12 people dead and nearly 50 injured.
