Invincible Iron Man Issue #2 Review (Marvel NOW 2.0) || iRate Reviews

The AI Tony Stark takes Riri Williams under his wing and proceeds to give her a beat down. It's a hard knock life for Ironheart in invincible Iron Man #2 Subscribe here:    / @detailcomics   ----- Invincible Iron Man issue #2 continues the story of Riri Williams after the death of Tony Stark and in this issue we see here taking on a ton of Iron Man armors as part of a training exercise. We also get a deeper look at the tragic shooting that shaped her life. That is pretty much everything that happens in issue #2, which feels very similar to the last issue of Invincible Iron Man. While it is great to see how the AI version of Tony Stark will be portrayed, there are also a number of logical faults that appear in the writing. If Tony is capable of controlling all these armors, why does Riri Williams need to be the new Iron Man? Why can't he just be the ghost in the machine, handling situations as they arise? Why doesn't AI Tony break down a few armors for parts in order to upgrade Riri's capabilities? That would be better than battering her around and pointing out how poor her suit is or how much of a novice she is. I appreciate the look at her resourcefulness by the end of the book, but there are a lot of gaps that I just can't bridge. Is that going to keep me from reading the next issue? No, but it makes it tougher to grasp where things are moving and thats the unfortunate part of Invincible Iron Man #2. iRate Reviews is the show where I go over specific comic books from my pickup that deserve to be talked about review them in a little bit more depth. This doesn't mean that they are always good though. Some comics are lessons in what NOT to do. ----- Follow on Facebook:   / detailcomics   Catch up on Twitter:   / evolutionofstan
