Shaheen Halloway Sets Up Vassil Evtimov for the Mean Poster Dunk (1996)
Date: March 31, 1996 Event: 1996 McDonald's High School All-American Game Players: Vassil Evtimov (North Carolina commit) and Lester Earl (LSU/Kansas) Vassil Evtimov played parts of two seasons at UNC in the post-Dean Smith era before returning overseas. Earl transferred from LSU to Kansas following his freshman season and ultimately found himself caught up in recruiting scandal that contributed to an anti-climatic finish to his college career.
