Bell Ringing at Todwick, South Yorkshire

Filmed 6th May 2023 Ringing for the Kings Coronation on this little three in South Yorkshire. The Bells here are a rather clunky ring of three, the treble was cast in 1824 by James III Harrison, the second by George Oldfield in 1658, and the tenor by Immanuel Halton in 1714. Altogether, they make a rather pleasant sound. They are rung from the ground floor and have a long draught with no rope guides, which makes them a bit tricky to ring and unpredictable at times.
