In 3 days, October 20-22, 2020, Columbus Police officers working PACT (Police And Community Together) made 50 arrests connected with prostitution. The arrests of the 40 women and 10 johns were primarily in the areas of Sullivant Ave., Parsons Ave., and Hudson Ave. In one case, a female picked up on Tuesday for soliciting was arrested on Thursday for the same offense. In another case, a john was arrested while he was on the job making a food delivery. Undercover police arrested him and then delivered the food to the customers who were waiting. The 3-day operation was a statewide effort spearheaded by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost.
