Arambol beach is also known as Russian beach as it is mostly visited by Russians. Arambol beach has both rocky and sandy terrain, and it is pristine fewer tourists visit there. It is also one of the cleanest North Goa beaches. There is thick forest and a sweet water lake at the northern end of the beach, and the famous Banyan Tree, where the famous music band. It is the largest northernmost beach in Goa. The beach comprises a long stretch of sand with a few rocky outcrops, rows of trees and a river inlet of Tiracol River. It is located to the north of the Arambol beach, but in order to reach there by foot, one has to walk through t he hill and jungle between the Paliem Sweet Water Lake and Querim Beach. Querim is 30 Kilometers from Mapusa. From the north side of Querim beach, one can see a restaurant and bar on a high hill on the Tiracol side of the Tiracol River. We went their in late November but still, it was not bad and there was water flowing down the water falls, but not the extent it might be in July or August.( Photo attached).But definitely not in Summer. it was nice sight and we would be able to see from the safe location near the temple steps and grill. Good for Photographs. When you go to see the water falls at Aravalam, you can visit the Rudreshwar temple( Shiva) through the which you have to pass by.
