Intelligent Rear View Mirror provides a clear rearview from a camera located on the rear of the vehicle. Intelligent Rear View Mirror has two modes: conventional rearview mirror mode and Intelligent Rear View Mirror mode. You can switch between these two modes by using THIS mode select lever. The mode can only be changed when the ignition switch is in the ON position. Moving the mode select lever in THIS direction switches to the Intelligent Rear View Mirror mode (camera view mode). Moving the mode select lever in THIS direction switches to the conventional rear view mirror mode. Nissan’s Intelligent Rear View Mirror provides a wider view than standard rear view mirrors, and it’s especially effective in low-light conditions, like in parking garages and during night driving where it helps to reduce glare. When using the LCD screen, the LED head lamps of following vehicles may appear to flicker. This is normal and not a malfunction. You can choose display settings such as brightness and camera angles. When the Intelligent Rear View Mirror mode is on, the setting menu can be selected by PUSHING the MENU button. Each time the MENU button is pushed, the setting menu will cycle through the various available menus. Brightness of the display screen can be adjusted. PUSH the left button to dim the screen and the right button to brighten the screen. The vertical camera angle of the display screen can be adjusted. PUSH the left button to adjust the camera angle down and the right button to adjust it up. The camera angle of the display screen can also be rotated. PUSH the left button to adjust the camera angle to the left and the right button to adjust it to the right. The Intelligent Rear View Mirror is designed so that it automatically changes reflection according to the intensity of the headlights of the following vehicle. You can enable or disable the automatic anti-glare mode by PRESSING the left or right button. The Intelligent Rear View Mirror will store the settings for all main menu selections in the memory after every button release and will be used at the time of the startup.
