NEW IG HANDLE: @thedressrelief With summer coming up, many of you are probably graduating and starting a full-time job soon, getting ready for an exciting internship, or maybe you just happen to be looking for a career change. Though this style guide is geared more towards my college-level fashion enthusiasts out there, I hope everyone is able find some helpful tips in this video on how to dress for interviews and what to wear to the office. Your feet shouldn't be killing you after just an hour and you shouldn't be having to adjust your top every 5 seconds. For professional clothing on a budget, I usually shop H&M, Banana Republic & J. Crew sales, or even thrifting/secondhand. Make sure your clothes fit properly! Having your clothes tailored or just LOOK tailored (learn to sew & alter yourself!) makes an outfit looks 1000x better, cleaner, and more professional. So make sure your sleeves hit right at the wrist, your pants right at the ankles, the waist of a top taken in if needed, etc. ITEMS: Bottoms: black pants: ASOS flared pants w/ pearl detailing: Petite Studio (but got mine for a STEAL on depop!) black floral midi skirt: Madewell (sale) straight leg jeans: Madewell knee-length skirt: H&M knee-length dress: H&M blue printed pants: H&M houndstooth knee-length/midi skirt: H&M Tops: white peplum blouse: Express blue ruffle sleeve top: Banana Republic (sale) white ruffle sleeve top: Banana Republic (sale) green wrap blouse: J. I'm drawn to fashion as I believe it is an art form that not only allows individuals to express themselves but also creates a history and record of different time periods and generations. I've had a lot of fun learning how to put together outfits and use different styles to tell a story through the way I dress. I started this channel to share what I learn along my fashion journey and hopefully help others learn and find their style as well. I'll post videos 1-2 times a week, mostly regarding fashion but may include a few beauty/makeup related videos as well.
