"I told you to write a great statement that will make our family happy." "Can you tell me about this joke you wrote?" Sengai explained the situation, saying, "This is not a joke." It will be very sad for you if your son dies before you, and it will be unbearable for both of you if your grandson dies before both of you. So, if death occurs in your family in the order I listed, it is some kind of natural order. It's real luck if it happens this way.” We can discuss many important Dhamma points through this story. Sengai tells the rich man in a sentence that he should constantly be reminded of the impermanent.
