Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Germantown. Today, investigators are releasing a surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify him. On Tuesday, July 19 at approximately 3:32 a.m., 5th District officers responded for the report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 18701 Liberty Mill Road. The investigation revealed that an adult male employee was inside the 7-Eleven near the store’s office when the male suspect entered the store armed with a handgun. The suspect pointed the handgun at the employee and then motioned with the gun towards the cash register. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled out the front of the store. The suspect is described as unknown race male in his mid-20s, approximately 5′ 11 with a medium build. He was wearing a white “anonymous” style mask and all dark clothing.
